Amy is a sophomore at Urbana High School who joined journalism because she wanted to try something new and connect with her classmates and other people. She recently moved here from Williamsport, Maryland, and is adjusting to life in Urbana. A fun fact about her is that she enjoys making new friends. An article idea she had was to write about sports and include photography. Her favorite subject at her old school was P.E., because it helped her stay in shape for sports, participate in different activities, and meet new people. [In addition,] her hobbies include soccer and track, and she is considering trying volleyball. In her free time[,] she likes to work out, go out, or spend time with her family and friends. She is into shopping, collecting shoes, and watching her favorite show, Love Island, as well as some movies. Summer is her favorite season because of the beaches and fun places to see and visit. She is attempting to do her best in school to graduate early so she can begin her future plans sooner. These include attending college at Mount St. Mary’s University and majoring in nursing to become a travel nurse.
