Brennan Ginsburg is a junior at Urbana High who joined journalism to gain experience that he hopes is useful in his future career. His favorite subject is English which also influenced his decision to give journalism a shot. English 101 was his favorite class due to the helpfulness and kindness shown by Mrs. Ross as well as the strong focus on critical thinking that went into each essay. He is a huge sports fan and closely follows Chicago sports due to his love for his favorite athlete of all time, Derrick Rose. In his free time he enjoys playing video games such as Madden and 2k, watching Youtube, and listening to country music. This year he is most interested in covering sports events and school news, which include stories relating to student life while also incorporating opinion based and argumentative writing. He hopes to improve his writing skills, gaining useful experience, and ultimately create meaningful content.
