    Alberts amazing story

    Alberts+amazing+story

I think we all know Albert Crabbe, right? I mean, at this point, he might be one of the most recognizable people in the school. But I doubt most of you know his story, so that’s what I’m here to tell you today: The story of Albert Crabbe.

Albert, like many of us, went to Urbana Middle School, where his infectious personality quickly made him a “fan favorite.” But Albert is actually from here; he’s from Ghana, Africa, and has, on multiple occasions, represented Ghana at Culture Fest.

Since Albert is a 12th grader, I caught up with him and asked him what his plans for the future were. “I want to go to FCC for 2 years and then transfer to UMD and major in computer science and minor in aerospace engineering,” Albert’s infatuation with computers started when he took a computer science class during his time here at the school, and ever since then, he decided that’s what he wanted to do.

I asked Albert what his favorite and worst memories were during his time at the school, and he replied, “My favorite is our most recent homecoming football game because the vibes were immaculate, and there was a lot of good energy, and my worst memory was coming to school today: the day after spring break.”

I also caught up with Derick Price (who is also a senior), and I asked him what about Albert made him so likable. “Albert’s very likable because I think he’s the nicest person I’ve ever met, and also, he never ever gets angry like ever,” he said.

Being a senior, Albert has a pretty exhilarating couple of months to look forward to as in the month of May alone he is graduating, going to prom, and going on a senior week trip to Ocean City. After that comes summer break where he is slated to have a lot of fun before finally going off to FCC in the fall.

In conclusion, Albert’s time at UHS has left a positive impact on many people, and it’s safe to say that he will be doing well for himself with his bright future. For now though, we should try to appreciate Albert and the rest of the class of ’24 while they are here because they don’t have a lot of time left.
