Christina Hance-Aloi is a sophomore at Urbana High School. Throughout her years at school, her greatest accomplishment would be getting straight A’s throughout all of elementary and middle school. Christina’s goals extend beyond the classroom, as one of her many dreams is to live in New York, specifically the upper east side of Manhattan. She loves New York City because of the people and how you can never get bored in such a busy city. One thing she would change about the city, however, is the issue of homelessness. Christina says if she could make one change to the world, it would be to eliminate homelessness.
At home, Christina lives with her Stepdad, her baby sister, and her mom, who has had a great impact on her life. Christina’s mom is the person who inspires her most, because she was a single mom during Christina’s childhood, but she still managed to spoil her all the time.
If given the opportunity to master any skill, Christina says “I think I would master manipulation because it would get me rich. But on a real note I think I’d master the skill of stocks because that would also make me rich”. Christina has other skills, such as graphic design and baking. Three items that Christina says she could never live without are her phone, her bullet journal, and makeup.
Christina enjoys visiting different places in the area, like Target, Starbucks, or Cava. If Christina could only have one meal for the rest of her life, it would be from Cava. She would have a greens and grains bowl with white rice, super greens, harissa honey chicken, corn, cucumber, pita crisps, harissa and tzatziki dips, along with yogurt dressing and a pineapple apple mint juice.
After high school, Christina plans on applying to Ivy League schools, then pursuing a career in marketing, with a goal of eventually opening her own firm.
