Christina Hance is a junior at Urbana High School. This is her second time taking Journalism, saying that, so far, Journalism has been her favorite class she has taken in high school. She enjoys the class because it gives her the freedom to write articles about anything she cares about. Also, she finds it very fun to conduct interviews with people. Especially being able to put together small and fun interviews for the UHSHawkeye TikTok.
Outside of class, she spends her time earning money at American Eagle and hanging out with her friends. With friends, she enjoys shopping at her favorite stores- LuluLemon, American Eagle, and Nike, as well as making fun posts together for her Instagram and TikTok. She also likes to spend her time designing and working on her aesthetic, whether it be making pink acrylic paintings to decorate her room or having fun with makeup and fashion. This love for makeup and design feeds into her goal of becoming a Cosmetic Dermatologist after high school. Cosmetic Dermatology is improving the cosmetic characteristics of a patient's face and skin while avoiding invasive procedures. This would involve techniques such as makeup, botox, or laser treatment to improve someone's cosmetic beauty.
