Hello, my name is Jackson Fuentes, and I am currently a junior at Urbana High School. I was born on June 14, 2009, and raised in Maryland, where I have lived my entire life. Growing up here has shaped who I am and allowed me to build strong friendships and connections in my community. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing video games, fishing, and watching sports whenever I get the chance. Sports have always been a big part of my life, both inside and outside of school. Academically, my favorite subjects are math and science because I enjoy problem-solving and learning how things work. I am especially interested in sports journalism and news journalism, as I like telling stories and analyzing games and athletes. My favorite broadcaster is Tom Brady because of his elite ball knowledge and insight. This year, I am most excited to write about Moses Adoko, a Sheetz-loving hooper with a great story.
