My name is Nini Degni and I am 16 years old. I moved to Urbana from Gaithersburg in April 2022. I have 9 siblings and I am the youngest. Family is the most important thing in my life as well as writing. I like to think of myself as a personal therapist, but my family views me as their hairdresser, makeup artist and lash technician. My therapy is in cosmetology, but my heart wants to be an ultrasound technician. Coming from a big family, I am wise beyond my years and always appreciate new knowledge. I love spending time with my nieces and nephews because they make me feel so much more important. I enjoy teaching them how to read and write because they are very smart kids and cooperate very well. I have a dog named Luna. She’s a puppy with big emotions and a lot of personality. I am interested in opinion journalism because my opinion counts and I’m extremely passionate about it. I am most looking forward to publishing my first Hawk Eye article and working with Mrs.Tressa!
