Ella Linberg, Reporter
Ella Linberg, a sophomore at Urbana High School Class of 2028, enjoys playing softball and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite subject is history, which she plans to major in for her undergraduate degree, along with political science.
In her free time, she draws, listens to music, or calls her friends. Her favorite types of music are R&B and rap, and her favorite season is fall, when she plays lots of offseason softball and practices with her team.
She decided to join journalism this year to try something new and improve her writing skills. These skills will be useful for her future, as she hopes to study law at UCLA, the city where she grew up before moving away in third grade. She plans to move back there as an adult. Some stories she would like to write about include sports and school-wide events, such as dances and postseason sports. This year, she is looking forward to improving her skills and meeting new people in class.
