Do you like music? Are you in need of new music? Are you looking for something to look forward to?

Well, here are a few new albums coming soon that you should get excited for, and be ready to listen to.

Hey u x, BENEE- November 13

Who Is the Artist Behind Benee's 'Hey u x' Album Art? | Ocula

If you haven’t heard of this 20-year-old New Zealand based artist or any of her music, you should definitely get on that.

You might know this name from the dance trend on Tik Tok to her popular song, ‘Supalonely’ or another popular song of hers ‘Glitter.’ Her music, in all honesty, doesn’t seem to have a genre, which makes all of her music enjoyable for everyone who listens.

BENEE has two EPs Fire on Marzz and Stella & Steve, making this her debut album. Hey u x is set to be released on November 13th. There are thirteen tracks, and there will be features from artists such as Lily Allen, Flo Milli, Kenny Beats, Gus Dapperton, Mallrat, Bakar, and Muroki. You definitely should give this album a listen when it comes out.

BE, BTS- November 20

Two albums in one year?!

Yes, you read that correctly. BE will be the second album of 2020 for the 7-member,
Korean boy band, BTS. After releasing their first album of 2020, Map of the Soul:7, on February 21st, the group began recording over the course of quarantine.

The lead single for this album is a song I’m sure you’ve heard before called “Dynamite,” which is their first song fully performed in English. Even with limited knowledge about it, fans everywhere are expecting the album BE to be another amazing album from BTS.

Wonder, Shawn Mendes – December 4

Wonder (Shawn Mendes album) - Wikipedia

Does anyone remember this guy from Vine?

Yeah, shocker right? Shawn Mendes was originally on the once-popular app called Vine. Now he’s on the verge of releasing his fourth studio album.

He released a short trailer of the album called “Intro” which is the intro to the album. The intro begins with pianos and ends with an enormous amount of synths. It overall seems like the album that’s not even out yet is going to be amazing.

“The song “Wonder” that he just came out with was beautiful…. the music video was really beautiful, and I’m really excited for the album.”- Vivian Nguyen Recently he has released the single of this album called “Wonder” as well as a music video.

I don’t think I can describe it very well so here’s the link to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHeQemJJQII

Although a tracklist has not been confirmed, many are still excited to hear what Shawn Mendes is bringing to the table for this new album.

Positions, Ariana Grande – October 30

Ariana Grande 'Positions' album: Sex and more sex. Love too - Los Angeles Times

This album has already been released, but I wanted to share it with you.

“I really liked it, I usually don’t listen to pop music but I love Ariana.” – Vivian Nguyen

Through a tweet, Ariana Grande announced that she would be releasing her sixth studio album. Soon after she announced it, on her website, a countdown clock showed up. There were two clocks on her website. The first clock was for the countdown to the release of her single, “positions.” The second clock was for the full album, which was released on October 30th.

There are artists featured on this album such as The Weeknd, Ty Dolla $ign, and Doja Cat. When asked how to
describe the album Kamryn Morton answered with “This album is a pinpoint of light in a world of darkness.” Quite dramatic, but, honestly, I couldn’t agree more. If you haven’t already, you should definitely go listen to this album.

“My favorite songs are ‘pov’, ‘my hair’, and ‘nasty’…also the one with the Weeknd (‘off the table’)” –
recommendations from Vivian Nguyen.
