Lily Woodham is a junior at Urbana High School. She is involved in her community thanks to connections through softball and field hockey. Lily has played softball for ten years and played both varsity field hockey and softball. She also plays travel softball for Rise Up Softball.
Throughout her high school career, Lily has made many memories through Urbana sports. Her favorite memories from her high school teams are, “winning the CMC championship my sophomore and junior year for field hockey. It was also super exciting when we won regional finals against Clarksburg my sophomore year in softball”, Lily said.
In her free time, Lily enjoys hanging out with friends and being outdoors. Her favorite food is crab legs and old bay, a Maryland classic. She travels often with her family, either for fun or for sports.
After high school she plans to attend college outside of Maryland. Lily said, “I want to go south because the weather in Maryland is too cold.” She is planning to play softball in college, but she doesn’t know what she wants to major in yet. She has an interest in law and forensics science. Lily is looking forward to go to college, but is also excited to see where the rest of high school takes her.
